With more than seventeen years of Event-Driven buy-side investment experience, Ian joined Elevation Securities in 2014. Ian started his career at Barclays Capital as a Risk Analyst after receiving his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University in 1997. He went on to join the firm’s Merger Arbitrage Proprietary trading desk. In 1999, he joined Citadel Investment Group as an analyst for their Event-Driven team in London. He also served as the Portfolio Manager for the Event-Driven portfolio of Sagamore Hill. At the end of 2010, Ian joined his former Citadel colleague at Ivaldi Capital to create their Event-Driven investments team.

Ian lives in Essex, just outside of Greater London, with his wife and son. He enjoys playing golf and running.
